1 cup packed light brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
1/4 cup softened butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup water
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup Cape Cod Cranberry Wicked Walnuts - slightly chopped
Heat oven to 350°F. In large bowl, beat sugars & shortening until creamy. Add egg, water and vanilla;
beat well. Add dry ingredients; mix well. Stir in Wicked Walnuts.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheets, 10 to 12 minutes.
